Battlefield 2142 Demo Contents  by Craig D at 16:31

The contents of the imminent Battlefield 2142 demo have been revealed, it will feature the Sidi Power Plant map, which I belive is not the same map as used in the beta. This map pits European Union forces against the Pan Asian Coalition and is playable in BOTH Titan mode and the old skool Conquest mode.

In related news, it would seem that EA have now closed the DICE Canada studio, Battlefield 2: Special Forces was clearly the highlight of their portfolio which also included Battlefield: Vietnam.

I will give the demo a go but I hate the look of 2142, dunno what but something about it screams crappy cash in on a franchise and just rushed.

ill defo give it ago - only bf vietnam has let the franchise down and that was rushed also. 2142 will sell plenty of titles ans should go on to be a success. anyone know the requirements to run it?
