i bin watchin some vids on the wii, and it looks good in theory. But i cant stop thinking that its just an expensive iToy for the PS2

Bloody chav! Well thats the point dickhead, instead of paying 200 odd quid for a wee; i can spend 20 quid for an itoy which is for an older generation console. My point is that nintendo will have to knock the socks of the public in order to get them to make that great leap of faith and buy.

They already have knocked the socks of the public, there's huge amounts of interest in the console on nearly every game related website that you read.

The wii controller is NOTHING like the eye toy, the eye toy comes with pretty basic games and is more about putting you into the games.
The wii is all about how you interact with the games, imagine you and you friend playing a game like soul calibre both using the wii controller to fight each other.

Exactly. Itoy was pretty much a web cam game.
Wii is so much more interactive and imaginative.

ROFL, the Wii an itoy? What the hell are you on?!!!
PS3 is overpriced, blu rayed (everyone should hate Blu Ray ¬_¬), unperforming crap. I have been saying for months I think the ps3 will be crap and I hope it flops hideously. I really hope it screws the arrogant twats at Sony completely aswell.
360 is a big step forward for the xbox, but it's pretty much a scaled down PC, as we all know, not worth forking out all that money for when I have a PC already. But I think the 360 will out sell the PS3 and Wii, they've managed to have a good launch despite a slightly shakey start.
Wii is the only one of the next generation console that is innovative and offers something new and different. Therefore Ill be going for a Wii, despite the stupid ass name ¬_¬. Like Malis said ill have my PC for serious gaming etc and the Wii for a bit of fun, best of both worlds.

it all depends how much the wee costs... i personally wouldnt play xbox prices if it wasnt somthing special. The wee controllers would have to be pretty good to work like on them vids and as much as i like nitendo; i can see the wee being a massive fucck up  (hence why i expect them to be an overpriced iToy) The ps3 will be mildly crap (like the ps2)but the sony will always have people who like to buy by brand not much to say about the 360 ... it works and the more the other consoles fail; the more chance of xbox domination.
