Jammin SUAS

Last night i swore alliegence to Queen and Country, signed up to the RAF for 2 years!

Some of you may heard me saying the odd thing about me joining the University Air Squadron (UAS). Last night was the official start of my "service" I'm hoping for a fun 2 years of paid adventures. I'm basically in the RAF Voulenteer reserve, so i get paid to go skiing, rockclimbing, charity events etc & they teach me how to fly! I'm hoping to get my Private Pilot's licence through them as well, so fingers crossed!

Bit Scary, I'm in the military, but should be a laugh!

I'm pretty sure they'd take me ASAP because I'm perfect in every way. They can't have me though, I'm too good and it's unfair to the T's.

Best of luck with the RAF mate. By far the best of the services to be in. My old man was in the RAF for 30 years and left as a Group Captain. It's a great life if you choose to stay in.

I also applied a fair few years back, but failed at the interview stage, apparently my current affairs weren't up to date.
