Res of man is seriously overrated from the bit of it I have played, drakes fortune is defo worth getting thought and I also really liked burnout paradise but its not a exclusive.

Pissed off that Burnout paradise only has online multi player, that's half the fun in burnout! some brewskies and mayhem.

Good man toma, its short but really good fun.

I really really liked burnout paradise, but the limited amount of music tracks finally stopped me playing it, well that and the fact that my reactions cant keep up with the fastest cars.

I am trying so hard to resist buying GT Prologue, even though I don't really like realistic racers.

I'm not a fan of racing games at all really. The ONLY racing games I have constantly played have been Colin Mcrae (the very first one) PGR series and GT series. I can't wait for GT5, but then I'm going to want a steering wheel

Nice video, although the G25 costs a packet. Hopefully the new GT wheel due in just over a month will be well under the £100 mark.

My PS3 has arrived today by the way, have it here with me at WORK lol, how annoying.

Yes I've seen that Nego, the guy's a twat for driving with gloves and driving shoes though. Also clutch support isn't even in the game and he's playing like that.. he admitted himself in the comments so he's just doing it to look good

Why is that funny jonnz, there is only so many times you can hear avril lavignes girlfriend before you explode and kill your entire town.

On another note has anyone noticed that sony has actually made it more expensive to buy gt prologue via the ps store than from shops, when they actually save money and don't have to deal with 3rd parties. Typical Sony tbh, no ****ing way am I paying £25 for it.

25 quid is the RRP ryan, its cheaper in stores at the stores discretion. And with PSN instead of play.com being the third party it is sony, sony didnt make the game remember.

I guess they figure they'll charge the full RRP knowing people will buy it because it saves them the hastle of going to a shop or waiting for delivery but tbh I think your overreacting a little.

The final version of gt5 has confirmed clutch support but the demo doesn't (as seen in the video) Prologue is supposed to have clutch support too but I've not tried with a wheel myself.

I know they are not forcing you to buy it, but the fact is they are not losing cash to 3rd party shops, and yet they still are the most expensive place to buy it.

I am not saying people shouldn't buy it, just that I would feel cheated if I did.

I very much doubt Sony lose any money to 3rd party shops, that would be the publishers no?

Oh and Prologue supports clutch, not sure I fancy paying out for a g25 just yet though. Maybe when GT5 is released properly.

Do you race with aids off and profressional Toma? I'm currently working my way through the japenese 300hp+ events which are a right nightmare in my poor scooby (which seems to be the slowest out of the eligable cars bar the rx-8) done 2 out of 3 though after many minutes of shouting at the dirty AI shunting me off the track on suzuka

Of course! although I did have to turn stability assistance back on for the Ford GT was a nightmare on Fuji (think it was Fuji)

I used the scooby for those Japanese events too, think I settled for bronze/3rd for the moment.

Just got the GT myself, after 3/4 attempts on profressional i finally masterd the highspeed ring, 1st by 20+ seconds coming to the last bend. Back end randomly stepped out round the bend, ruined my line into the wall 10 spins later ive lost the 20 second lead and end 7th.

I cried, a lot. Think ill use standard for the GT races

Aye its a utter piss take, you don't even get cash off the full game. No matter how good it is, it is still a demo that you pay for.

its more than your average demo though, they released HD concept for free that was a demo. This isn't the first prologue to be released you do realise?

GT4 had a prologue released to purchase as well, it's more of a provide the fans what they ask for than anything (the full game isn't due for another year), no one forces anyone to buy it your quite welcome to wait for the full game. Calling it a piss take is retarded, no ones holding a gun to your head?

A size of a demo doesn't matter, its the fact that its demo material of a future product, it is the definition of demo, and a demo you pay for at that.

No they don't force you to buy it, but lets be honest they know most people will because they don't want to wait a year for the full release.
Its like releasing bare bones DVDS, they know you will buy the original and the special edition. You are in effect paying for the content twice, look I admit that its a great game but you will still end up paying for the same content twice and I am sorry but that is a piss take. They could give u a discount off the full game if you bought GT5P, but they don't.

Hell they could even give it away free like they did with doom, that would make huge amounts of people not only download it but buy the full game.

Its not like I am the only person saying this, hell almost every review has nocked off at least two points because they say it is in effect a big demo you pay for.

TF2 took 10 years to make, not only did they not charge you for a demo of it, but they gave you a free beta and made it so it was virtually free if you bought the orange box.

Lol they were working on it for damn near 10 years you noobie ****er, it was announced not long after tfc was first released.

Thats the point nego, they are taking the piss because they know they can. You are still paying twice for the same content, and I wouldn't buy 20 percent of gta4 early I would rather wait and have a full and finished product.

There are quite a few things with gt5p that feel unfinished as good as it is and I only bought it so I can have a piss about with my m8 on it in a few days.

TF2 was announced about 10 years ago Nego. The one you play now is nothing like their original concept for TF2 which was I guess going to be on the HL1 engine. I doubt they have spent a full 10 years working on it though

Actually if you read any of the developer interviews they've been working on it for 10 years. It's gone through 3 different versions before they were happy with it (the first being a realistic type of game with top down commander views much like in BF2 etc) Then they ported it to the Hl2 engine when that was made and worked again on it. The people that made TFC for the HL1 engine were working on it for damn near most of the time and only took a break to work on Episode 2 (either 1 or 2, i'm sure it's 2)

Idiot nego

As scrappy and midnight says it went through several versions as they were not happy and it was originally built using the half life engine and was due out not long after tfc was released.

Back to gt5p, I am not saying don't buy it, I am not saying its a shit game, I am just saying that they know people really want it, so they can release a bare bones version with only a few tracks and people will pay what ever they want. It's not treating the customers with respect and it takes the micky, go read ANY review of it and they will agree with me.

I hardly call giving a consumer what they want taking the piss though, yes they do it to make money but its not like they have a completed game but decided to release a half finished one instead. GT5P will be updated progressively as new stuff for the real game is made, not the complete package no but by the time GT5 is released it will have a lot more content than it does currently.

I just think your stance that they have commited some kind of sin is ridiculous, people actually wanted this product how can you possibly rip into them for giving consumers what they want. It is not forced upon anyone that doesn't want it, they arent offering GT5P customers extra content with the full game forcing peoples hands. They simply put it on the shelves and said "if you want a reasonably sized sneak peak into what GT5 will be like here have a look" and MANY people are gratefull to get a fix instead of waiting for a year to see the final product.

Reviews mark the score down because it isn't a full game, not protest that the people who make it are taking the piss by releasing it. Quit whining noob

They are going to be free updates shag, GT5P was released a while back in japan and when it was released in US/EU it had an extra bunch of cars and a new track. These where released as a patch for the Japanese version and they plan to roll out new content many times.

I think they was even stated as wanting to release the next batch of content before the end of april, and the maker of GT has recently said damage will be added to the game as a patch as well.
