Emo is another teen phase. If you like emotional music, wear anything black or have a certain (different) hair style, you're considered emo(tional).

Kids nower days like to hate a group of people, now it's Emo's. But tbh, most people don't even know what it means and call people it for a million stupid reasons.

Listening to music like MCR doesn't make people emo. Wearing black doesn't make people Emo. Threatening to slit your wrist for attention does.

Basically, it's the new kid thing. Most likely made up by a group of chavs wanting to hate more people different to them while trying desperately to legitimise their own retardedness.
