I thought it was dreadful, loads of stick people running and jumping around at 100 MPH, looks a bit crap when compared to any recent Battlefield game too tbh. Not impressed at all.

At least the original ET had the excuse that it was free..

Yes I cant say I am impressed, it almost looks like doom2 graphics and for some reason runs at a max of 8fps on my rig, I could keep changing drivers and pissing about till I sort it, but quite frankly I didnt think enough about it to warrent the effort.

Also what the hell is up with games makers limiting a first person shooter to 30 fps, I am sorry but unless you are a complete ****ing idiot, 30 fps feels like shit to play with.
Sure you can go and unlock the fps with quake wars, but seeming most online gamers cant even change from default 56k rates I very very much doubt they can unlock their fps.
Come on i.D pull your fingers out....

So peps what sort of PC do you need to play it & is that bad ? I mean sheet this was going to be the game to move me to getting the GFX card & by the sounds of it the game is not even worth playing

It ran fine on my 3500+ / 7900gt but was just crap, not my type of game at all. Stick men bunny hopping. No thanks.

I am sure if i changed drivers and pissed about I could get past the 8fps bug, but even on max settings it looks very basic and I just didnt like the way it felt.
I had high hopes for this game as well, was hoping I would be up for playing it when my neck let me, but unless they change a load before its released I dont see this happining now.
My pc is a duo e6600 running at 3.5 ghz with 2 gig of ram and a 8800gtx, it runs other games very well indeed.

Oh has anyone managed to blow a hole in a building like in some of the videos we seen ?
I couldnt put up with playing it for long enough to try.

Been playing the demo for like an hour or two in the nights, gets very boring although thats probably down to the one map. Not a bad game although I don't see me playing that, or even buying it.

I feel the same way Jam , will give it a bit more of a go but TBH playing BF2142 seems better at all levels ( BTW played BF2142 on my mates PC ).

The game is starting to appeal to me now , been playing as Covert ops & the sniping is much fun the system requirements are very modest as well . The only issue I see at the mo is server lag & that is sure to be down to the fact the code is still in need of tweaking .

Got a email to say its been posted, didn't think it was out till November but i guess i'll see how good the full game is soon.
