BATTLEFIELD 2 VETERAN'S PROGRAM
As we promised in our last newsletter, DICE is pleased to announce the
details surrounding the Veterans Program-our way to reward loyal BF2
players who are planning to play Battlefield 2142.
Being a Veteran will have its benefits including the ability to secure
your Battlefield 2142 name, exclusive player taunts, and an instant
promotion the first time you log onto the game.

Why?
They created BF2. If anything is wrong it's EA, they're the ones that call the shots. EA say jump. I can put money on EA _telling_ Dice to do the milking.

Yeah i know - it tells you that quite clearly - i tried shagnastie - mrshagnastie - Slave_Shag - shagnastie79 - all sorts of combos

this faq says you need to keep the same nick as you bf2 one. try e-mailing ea tech suport and calling them a bunch of monkey dogs.

Your BF 2142 nickname must be entered the same as your current BF2 nickname. If your current BF2 nickname breaks one of the rules here, you may need to modify your choice in nickname or pick a nickname that is not currently in use in BF2

you also cant start with a [ so thats where ben is going wrong, as he wont be able to have [gameslave]jammmin and jammin is taken if i were you shag id email them via the tech support on the ea site and ask whats the deal.
