Anyone - tried this ? I have read some good posts on the EA forums is it worth a punt ?

I haven't bought it myself

I wont be buying it for 2 reasons

1) Its just the same old shite repackaged so EA can make even more money. Just play BF2, Its essentially the same thing or better yet get a mod like PRM which, although its free, is better thoughtout/designed than any BF2 product.

2) Im boycotting all BF2 related crap until theyve sorted out the shittest patch ever made - 1.3. They dont deserve my money, morons.

Ive got it Spit as has Seph|roth and someone else - tbh for a fiver I was willin to take the risk - I only played ofr an hour or so on a server two maps i saw was a field one and one based on a broked freeway !!

Im not big on Tanks and Armours or flyin some may question why i bothered buyin it if thats the case - but £5 is nothing nowadays and with no-one really Playing BF atm i thought I'd have a Frankies..(butchers)

Its ok and if you buy it Ill play with yeah mate lotsa new planes and a few choppers as well.

I spent most my time on the server Shanking all the A-T guys and sniping people

Bought it myself for a look, harvest map seems fun so far.

yeah thats ones not so bad - if u can be arsed to run that far good shankin opertunities and easy snipin of AT men - The freeway one isnt to bad either

Will play some more tonight no doubt, tryout the night one

I will probably give it a miss Shags , I prefer infantry maps & I am not seeing many servers hosting AF.

Theres a lot of servers, too many for the amount of players I find. Porbably start dropping off soon enough thought. Its not a bad addition, 2 of the maps are good but road rage is only decent in the plane otherwise its a pretty poor map.

Its not horrible, and its really only 10 USD so Its not like you would waste alot of money for it and if it sucks you really dont need to play it. It adds a few maps and vehicles..BFD But I say worth the buy. SF looks way better however it is 20 dollars..and you get way more than AF. Again I say if you have the 10 spend it..

Quite like it myself, not played road rage yet tho, but I agree with seph, the other 2 play very well.

Oh and the review is taking longer than usual due to World Cup watching
