Not so long after Nintendo GameCube released Call of Duty : Finest Hour, Sony PlayStation has also given an release date of there world war two game going by the name of Commandos Strike Force.

Strike Force is now an FPS, but how the series' complex interplay of different characters will translate to an action-based shooter is not yet clear. The diverse abilities are still in place, though. There's the Green Beret, best for full-on action; the sniper, best for taking on the enemy at a distance; and finally the spy, who's brought his dressing-up box along for the ride. From the looks of the screenshots, different skills can affect the way you approach each level. The open areas spattered with cover will suit the Green Beret's more direct approach, while access to the ravaged buildings and higher levels are just what every sniper dreams of. We're guessing there might be some covert infiltrations for the spy as well (remember the old "show us your papers, please" action from Medal Of Honor?).
