Fatal1ty is Sound Blasted  by Craig D at 11:51

PC
Not content with working with Abit, it seems Johnathan Wendel, aka Fatal1ty, the worlds most famous gamer, is now working with Creative too.

MILPITAS, Calif., Jan. 5 -- Creative announced a partnership with Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel, world champion PC gamer. Under the agreement, Creative and Fatal1ty will collaborate on the design and technical specifications for a variety of PC input devices and audio solutions. Each product will be designed to deliver the highest level of responsiveness and accuracy in its category.

"I am always on the lookout for products that will give me an extra competitive edge, and by working with Creative I can access huge engineering resources to build those products," said Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. "I'll work with Creative to design products that every top gamer from each part of the world can use to try to beat me." "C gamers are core customers of Creative products. Our Sound Blaster sound cards have been the number one choice of gamers over the last 15 years," said Mala Sharma, director of product marketing for Creative Labs, Inc.

Hmm, I wonder exactly how much input he'll really get, or wether they'll just slap his name on the box of a few products to increase sales.

He doesn't have to be an electronics genius, he could be there to say what looks/sounds/feels good about the stuff their creating. Sounds fair enough to me!
