TimeShift Demo Hits Live  by Craig D at 14:57

XBox
Sierra Entertainment are pleased to announced that the Xbox 360 demo of Saber Interactive's time bending first person shooter will be available for download on Live Marketplace today. No news today of the PC or PS3 demos though.

Developed by Saber Interactive, and published by Sierra Entertainment, TimeShift is a first-person shooter (FPS) videogame that allows players to master the flow of time, to become the ultimate weapon in war-torn environments. Armed with the experimental time-manipulating Beta Suit and a huge arsenal of weaponry and vehicles, players have the ability to slow, stop and reverse the flow of time, allowing them to control several aspects of each battle sequence. Intuitive time controls give the player the ultimate advantage in avoiding attacks, correcting mistakes and outsmarting the enemy.

With a comprehensive online 16-player multiplayer mode, featuring time grenades, 14 different maps and over 40 different features, TimeShift gears itself to the players’ unique style of gameplay by allowing matches to be completely customisable. Players can battle it out in a tight, well-balanced multiplayer experience that implements several aspects of the time-manipulating gameplay element found in the single-player campaign.

Someone give it a whirl and tell me what it's like please.

After the last demo and the rather basic looking videos, I would not bother either.

Was actually quite fun. Huge improvement from the original game/demo. I think basing your opinion on their first one is rather unfair seeing as they went all through this because they knew the first was shit...

They have my respect.

I was not just basing it on the first demo but on the rather boring videos I have seen in the past month. When I connect my 360 back up to my plasma I might download the demo.

I downloaded it today and really enjoyed it. The time powers were good, but I really got the sense if you play it a lot you master them and be able to do some really cool stuff. Even without the time control aspects its a good game, AI seemed good and along with a good level(in the demo at least) it made for some decent battles. Ill be buying it. :]
