Valve ban 30K hax0rs  by Craig D at 09:45

If you cheat or attempt to gain access to Valve products withotu paying, this is what you can expect.

Today Valve disabled more than 30,000 Steam accounts which had been used to try to illegally gain access to Valve games without a valid purchase.

Valve takes such activities seriously and reserves the right to disable Steam accounts engaging in piracy, cheating, illegal activities, or any other activity in violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement. The accounts that are disabled today will not be reactivated.

Can't say I blame them.

Well as long as you dont use the same steam account youll be fine, as the ip you use to connect dont matter. Otherwise id never be able to play CS using my steam account round at my mates house which would be rather annoying.

And people who share their steam account with someone who is a muppet cant really moan when they find out the account has been used for attempted fraud, or software theft or however you want to look at it.
