Call of Duty Patches  by Craig D at 02:07

PC
The long awaited new patch for Call of Duty has been released by Infinity Ward and Activision, updating the game to version 1.5. The patch appears to contain a number of bug fixes and a new map.

mp_tigertown

Tigertown is a small farm town located in Normandy, France which has been partially destroyed by a heavy artillery attack. The environment is designed for "Search and Destroy" as the American Airborne forces push their way up the town's hillside to knock out the flak88 and Tiger tank heavily guarded by the German Waffen SS. The Allied forces need to attack strategically and gain ground quickly so as to distract the Axis from properly defending their positions. Precision flanking from both sides is a key factor when taking over and controlling the town.

There was a rumour that the dreaded clipping bugs would be fixed in this patch, unless the following line does refer to 'clipping', then it's not done.

Improved portal seams throughout the game.

Maybe?

A version 1.51 patch for CoD:United Offensive has also been released. This patch contains a whole host of single and multiplayer fixes too long to list here.
