Gordon Freeman model  by Craig D at 14:24

PC
Saw on bluesnews that a Gordon Freeman model is now available for use in mod, should bring HL2 deathmatch closer.

This is a model of Gordon for Half-Life 2 Deathmatch.

This model is intended to be used as a replacement for the standard player model, it contains LOTS of animations, but the current HL2 DM code does not use any of them (except jump for some reason). Therefore when you play HL2, the model will not move at all even though all the animations exist.

The HEVSUIT is from HL2 retail. This is why the back is not finished, since you were never intended to see it.

You can downlaod the file at Half-Life2 Files on filefront.

Ain't finished the game yet. Won't look at mods till after that. I've seen 2 "bullet-time" mods for download so far - it'll be great once there are some proper story-based mods.

Valve Wins Cyber Cafe RightsPosted by Myers at 09:10 30/11/2004. View comments (23).

Half-Life developers Valve Software have announced that they have won summary judgements motions in their copyright infringement case against publishers Vivendi. Valve originally filed the motion due to Vivendi distributing their software to internet cafés worldwide. Since then the case has been plagued with motions and counter-motions.

I agree with Scrappy, plenty of people have said that CS Source would be the only mp released with HL2 which was the case. A release of some other form of mp mod after release was pretty much a guarentee.
