Everquest II Review  by Craig D at 02:40

PC
Gamespot has posted their review of Everquest II.

EverQuest II makes a great first impression, and it starts out a brisk pace, but it eventually settles you into that old, familiar online RPG grind.

Perhaps it's not all that?

Been playing this since it was released, ive played quite a number of other MMoRPGs over the years, UO mainly for about 3 years, and a few others after that.

Im happy with it, it will certainly do me for now anyway, I cant see there ever being a solution to prevent any of these persistent games becoming a grind, thats the big problem which all persistent worlds. Be it UO, DAoC or Planet Side. Id be surprised if they ever make a persistent came that dont become repetitive boredom, the people who do manage this will certainly make a few quid.

Im pretty sure ill still be playing it long after Half Life 2 has been rested.
