The 24th annual Golden Joystick Awards were held on friday at the Hilton Hotel Park Lane and hosted by TV personality Justin Lee-Collins. Attended by 700 industry figures and decided by over 500,000 votes by gamers, the prestigious event enjoyed its most successful year to date.

The overall winner was Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which won in 3 categories; Best Game, Best Xbox Game and Best PC Game, and you can click full story for the full winners list. Surprisingly the PS3 was voted 'one to watch' for 2007 - perhaps a sign that consumer faith in the Playstation brand isn't as shaken as some would believe.
