without going off topic, I cant think of one nintendo game that could come under the "best game" bracket.

Zelda, Mario, Mariokart, All top of their genre in terms of gameplay and simplicity, and that's just for starters. Mariokart is still THE best kart style racing game, everyone's tried to copy it and none have quite bettered it. Myamoto is a genius in terms of simple addictive games. They may look childish to some but they hold so much more replay value than most games available today.

no offence jonzz but the fact u even say that proves how little of their games you have played, WITHOUT a doubt the best resident evil game is res 4, thats a nintendo game and i can safely go out on a ****ing limb and say that aint a childs game. Plus most of the zelda games are so hard no child could do them, zelda on the snes = one of the best games ever made. I aint pissed off, however i am sick of people throwing about the fact that nintendo make kids games, when they blatently dont, and all you have to do is actually play some of their games to realise that. It's just another urban myth as it were.

Nintendo make both childish and adult games. Some people need to take their blinkers off and realise that there are more to games then just blood guns and tits. Just because a developer chooses not to bring a game out with the above every 5 minutes, doesn't mean they make childish games.
