Battlefield 2 patch 1.4 available for open beta  by James B at 22:40

Battlefield 2 Logo Perhaps spurred on by the poor reception of their 1.3 patch, EA have made a beta version of patch 1.4 for Battlefield 2 available for download. So if you like testing new content, get to it soldier!

The patch seems to add a "no vehicles" server command, and a new map: Road to Jalalabad.

Sounds like a decent, if fairly unsubstantial patch. Let's just hope they don't add anymore bugs.

I would enjoy the odd game of infantry only no doubt, seems like a bit of lightweight patch atm though.

yesi did 1.3 before it was "offical" and it fooked up my install :9

I'm a huge fan of BF2, but I don't think I'll install this patch until it's finished.. rather be safe than sorry.

IVE GOT IT NOW IM DRUNK IT SEEMS 2 SERVER OS 1600 HAVE IT - BUT IM SO FEUNK IVE ONLY INSTALEED IT BUT CAN ROLLBAXK
