Yes, you can if you so desire, pre-order a PS3 from Play.com.
For £550 you'll get a 60GB PS3 and three games.

Due to an expected European shortage of the PS3, we are unable to guarantee delivery of your PS3 before Christmas. All pre-orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis and game titles in this package may be changed, subject to availability.

I wont be paying 550 quid for a console, and defo not after the stuff we have been hearing about the ps3, lets hope i am wrong though.

game titles in this package may be changed - so you dont even know if you'll get good games, if your late you'll just get the games no one wants, like barbie.

i dunno 550 quid for a console is ALOT of money for alot of peopl i wouldnt pay that for one. i guess we shall see
