Battlefield 2 Community Update  by Craig D at 00:08

PC
There's a new Battlefield 2 Community Update online tonight that talks about a map crash bug in two Special Forces maps and a possible issue with AT rockets passing through objects. Not a mention of community reaction to the AA changes though, maybe most people are happy with them?

I like the new AA, it gives the flyboys a taste of what we were getting from them before, and from what i;ve seen pilots now die as much as ground troops so it will even the stats out abit.

gotta love the bug in SF where you can crash the server by using the AT rockets on hummers though.

I can't believe people just accept another patch when it's taken them over 4 months of 'testing' for this one

Played Karky last night & its the 1st time I have seen the MEC chopper un touched on the heli-pad when I spawned. I have now seen some nice flying from the chopper pilots, using cover flying low just like the real thing so all in all I would say good change to game play . The noob tubes not need some accuracy to kill at anything more than short range top banana.

Choppers on karky? I think you need to get your head checked mate

Na i do think they need to fix the few bugs this patch has made like AT rockets, SF and stuff. But when they fix that should be hunky dorey. Maybe the PKM is a little TOO accurate, but aside from that im happy with patch.

Aye the support weapons are now too good imho, they should be totally inaccurate while moving about but the first few bullets almost always seem to kill me, daft.

Yeah ive had a few issues with the AT already. I like the uav's now, been shooting them down alot

All we need now is ship support so we can steer the ships around like in BF1942

Why did they remove it anyway???

Lots more support guys now on the maps now but they have their limits. I have been able to nade & booby traps them with great success. DOD have the right idea , make them wank unless deployed ( prone )
