geForce 7800 GTX Reviews  by Craig D at 14:57

PC
nVidia's latest baby, the 7800 GTX launches today, and for a change they are actually available in shops at launch, quite amazing considering the last few graphics cards launches from both Ati and nVidia.

Anyway, here's a list of reviews as we find them.

First up,Hexus take a look at the XFX 7800GTX. Next, [H]ard|OCP take a good long at what I think are reference 7800 GTX boards. Anandtech of course have been playing with a board or two as well.

Should any of you be eager to purchase, try Overclockers.co.uk and Scan.co.uk for starters.

Don't think I'll bother. Speed wise it's not much better than my current setup. Well if i stuck one in it would be worse, and there's no way I'm sticking 800quids worth in Next step is a dual core AMd. Any ideas when they are out?

Think it'll be some time before I would consider the dual-core cpus, mainly due to the cost and that most apps will run slower until they are at least the same clock speed as current chips. Going back on topic, that anti-aliasing is quite impressive on the 7800.
