Day of Defeat : Source Update  by Shane L at 19:41

steam And as the weekly Steam update rolls around the topic of conversation is DOD:S, like when is it never the subject of speculation, seems the DOD:S mod will be released some time this year.

We decided to rework all of the content of Day of Defeat: Source before the full public release, hoping that people would be happier waiting for the product to ship while we gave DoD the attention it deserved. We hope our assumptions turn out to be accurate.

I think DOD:S may regret this as I feel Battlefield 2 may lure a lot of FPS gamers away from the current crop of titles out at the moment. Thanks IGN

From what I've heard tho, BF2 is poo, so I shouldn't think it will with many

I wonder how much the adverse reaction to the released screenshots had an effect in this decision.

From what I remember most people were screaming 'omg thats crap' and the like, usual forum talk tbh.

Nah what I've been told is that if you play the game on ya own its crap and pointless... with a few friends it's ok... but still vehicles in FPS games isn't my thing.
