Codemasters have released 14 screenshots and 3 pieces of atwork from their upcoming World War II combat flight sim byAustralian developers IRGurus. The game will also be released on XBox and PS2, so I don't imagine it's too much of a simulator.

Beginning with the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbour, the epic story unfolds through 26 missions taken from real events of the U.S. Navy's campaign in the Pacific. Battles take place in hotspots such as Midway Island, Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal.

Should this sort of thing be your bag, you'll be able to buy it this coming September.
