personally i feel that the overall game expericenc is about the best ive ever played...

the only downsides are the ingame browser (its gamespy... go figure) & the impact damage from jeeps and tanks etc... (a jeep can kill you even if its only moving super slow about a total distance of 1mm!!!!) this is dissapointing as the rest of the game is fine

oh and the Cone aiming system SUCKS! but then again its ok once you get used to it

Mostly agree with what you have said. Think its an awesome game, one of the best ive ever played. Although if i had a better pc i might be able to experience it more and be even more impressed.

I agree that the in game browser is proper poo and this is what mostly causes me to crash, if i can get past this onto a server im safe

The aiming system does suck bad yea but just takes getting used to. Im slowly starting to get the hang of it.

Graphics and landscapes of the maps are the best ive ever seen in a game, although i can't experience it fully they still look brill even though i have everything set to low & a lot of stuff turned off.

They improved players in this game too as they aint skinny gits like they were in BF:V. That got on me nerves cos you couldnt see em if they stood next to a lamp post :S

I think they have done well the way they have put together the teamwork a bit more into this one. Especially with the squads, commander etc. Stops the people who just wanna be rambo's and run about theirselves trying to mow everything down but sadly dont work on this game

Vehicles are very good i think. Got a good varitey there, couple jets, couple heli's, tanks, APC's, buggy & a hummer. Although i dont know why they left the ingame radio out of the vehicles. Was awesome in BF:V trampling over stuff listening to some old post war vietnam stuff. Couldnt get enough of it, you basically jumped in a vehicle just to listen to the radio, lol.

Ill give it a 9/10. Just becuase of the crappy menu's tbh everything else cant be faulted imo. Apart from a few things, real minor tho

They didnt put in Radio because its set in the future, so they dont know what music to put in the game. Maybe they should have set it up so u could listen to your MP3's though. But they again, u can just have winamp on in the background (if your PC can handle it)
I really like the game, im already addicted to it.
A few things that annoy me:
Brower System; No favourites, No friends list & its generally a bit screwed up
Yanks AT Kit is slightly better than others.
Yanks seem to get a bit extra of everything as opposed to everyone else

I dont know what ur problem with the aiming system is? Im fine with it

The one thing that's annoying me about the game atm (being the UBER medic that I am)... is the fact that you clearly crouch/prone over someone and buzz then and they don't get picked up... sometimes takes three goes, arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgg frustrating.

Don't know if it is meant to do that, but as I'm used to wolf it's bloody annoying :/

But yeah overall it is a great game to play and a load of fun... is it just me or does all the ranked servers ping 150-200+?

lol i get pings of like 30 on the UK ranked servers

just tick the Ranked box and search for Multiplay in the server browser they all have about a 30ping for UK'rs ... unless your on 56k or anything below 512k

Richie when you do a full refresh they ping back high. If you highlight a multiplay then refresh it, it will ping properly. Another annoying bug in the in game browser.
Speak of which does anyone know if it's possible to use another out of game broswer to connect to servers? I installed GameSpy Arcade but it hasn't detected I've got BF2 installed fs.

Not atm no, ASE can browse servers then you can do a connect ip thing in BF2.

i really like the game i must say but having played desert combat mod for bf1942 i was expecting somewhat more. dont ask me what or how but i was.

i honestly think its just a slitghtly tweak/updated version of dc

still its a good game

rich as for the medic problem... try zapping them when your + is on them but before your inside them (its a weird bug ... if a body has something passing through it ... say a tree or a tank or even you... they can only sometimes be revived.)

I think they need 2 work on the netcode some more I dislike the way u die 3 seconds after someone has shot u... and vice versa.. like going round a corner then dying I mean wtf?
