Anybody going to be buying one of these babies ?

If it effects other card prices and they all start to tumble who would be prepared to go sli instead ?

Or even sli 2x 7800 owch that would be mint.

Some final specs for you coutesy of the inquirer.

The chip is made using a 110 nanometre process and will have 302 million transistors. So far, this is the biggest chip ever built for graphics use. As we revealed before, the chip will be clocked at 430MHz and will use 1200MHz memory with a 256 bit GDRR3 interface.

At least your 5700 runs bf2, poor old gf4 owners cant even run it properly.

So yeah after most consideration (yeah right ) I've decided to go for one of these for my b'day instead of a X850... this requires upgrading to PCI express tho which'll cost me a bit... so being the jobless bum that I am, anyone want to gimme a £100 or morw

x850 would be perfectly adequate imo, would be nice to have a 7800 but unless you really want to upgrade mobo aswell then no point.

nah, not gonna bother with the 7800, if you upgrade your mobo then you have to upgrade your cpu aswell... F*ck that!

BF2 has made me think... Now i need to upgrade my PC, but now i need to earn extra money to pay for it!

But do i stick with my 6600 or buy an SLI Mobo? Hmm Tought choice, im tempted to say AGP, then if i change my mind i can upgrade mobo later
