Right I've been with Nildram for a while now and they've been awesome. Since moving last year though i'm unable to get the speeds I was getting before due to location. This isn't a problem really as I don't download a whole bunch of stuff and only occasionally play the odd game bar AOC now. I get 2mb here which is fine really but with Nildram i'm still paying £25 for that.

Can anyone recommend a good other ISP to swap to ? Anyone used sky broadband at all ? I can get that for just £5 a month but i'm not swapping until I know i'll get the good service I'm used to with Nildram.

Nildram were recently bought out by Toscali [yes I do mean Tiscali] and since then their service and support has turned to shite for me and many other people. As for a decent isp, I don't know but a friend did recommend zen to me, however they are not cheap.

I had trouble with Zen - I could reclycle an old thread but im tryin to cut back on that

but i'd swear by Virgin XL package 20+mb never a problem

The only reason I want to change is to cut my monthly costs so I can have more money. There-for I want an isp that is cheaper than £25 a month but still recommended.

i'm not quiet sure what else virgin offer, but seeing as you don't even need a Land/phoneline to your house its ideal for me.

I don't really need the 20meg option but i just got so pissed off with companies offering around 8 - 10 mb but never getting anywhere near those speeds, soon as kids and parents start downloading around 3-5pm.

I never see my server below 18something mb

lol, I really don't download a whole lot anymore. I'm also thinking of trading my PC for a Macbook and getting more motivated with my work instead of playing games all the time !
