I think the best books i have ever read is the farseer series by Robin Hobb, never in my life have i felt so connected to characters or so moved by the story and actions, i must have read those three books in two days. I am also really enjoying Raymond E Feists work, i have just finished the magician trilogy and now i am onto his book Farie Tales. Its not what i thought it would be, its more of a horror book and quite sexually graphic in places. The greatest books have an effect on me, that after a few pages i dont even know i am readign anymore, its like i am watching the film in my head. When i sat reading the farseer books i had music playing, and now i cant listen to that cd without feeling those emotions, just so powerfull.

Feist, Magician - Riftwar Saga - Serpent war Saga - [all his books are brilliant (ferie tale is deffinatly the odd one out but i still liked it)]
Eddings, Belgerad - Mallorean - Elenium - Timuli [also 'The Redemption of Althias'] well all his books are brilliant imo
Gemmell, All his books are brilliant but i particularly like Waylander, and Ledgend [the druss books pwn]
Gareth Nix, His Sabriel series of books are quite good if you have a mind to read something new
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.
