wat is the best FREE antivirus that u can get. i got AVG and avast, i just wonered if there r better 1's

I got them as wel and they seem to do the job well enough so i dont rele see the point in lookin for even more

I use AVG and have never had any problems with it, plus it's not a system hog either.

avg is good, but i done a scan the other day frist with avg and it found nothing, then i done a scan with avast and it found 4 trojans

Ive got AVG - my own fault for not wiping my harddrive but the constant pop ups of Win 32 virus's does my nutt in

erm norton personal is shit [its a memory hog and their are several memory leaks that can cause your pc to crash after a day or so :/]
Norton Coprate edition is brilliant as it runs as a propper background process and doesnt hog your resources [my dad uses it for his work pc and its the most regularly updated and secure av program ive seen for windows]
AVGfree is brilliant for home users it doesnt hog resources and its free!
Avast is on par with AVG imo
Mcaffe should be blown to hell with norton personal

both work fine and are free but its a good idea to have both simply because they dont always detect somethings that the other does

Holy crap I tried McAfee and Norton and was so annoyed with em both. Norton wouldn't even let me uninstall it properly and messed up my pc.

i got avast, which works a treat for my mega fast laptop. i also got ova programmes for searching for stuff like spybot and shit. (not literally shit, because that would just be silly)
