Hi

can anyone help me please

i have a 2mb connection but when i download i bit torrent file i transfer between 0.1kbs to 20.4kbs i have been told that this isnt right but no one can say why or point me in the right direction to speed it up
any ideas
PLEASE HELP

you might have to allow port forwarding if you using a router
you might have to allow access through any software firewall
your ISP may have capped your bandwidth on certain ports

There are any number of reasons but the most likely is the above

1. well firstly do you have a router?

2. do you have a software firewall?

3. have you tried getting the torrent client to use a diffrent port./ are web downloads limited?

answer those and i can give you some more help

Don't you up/download ratios affect you transfer with .torrents? Also it may just be a bad batch of files also torrents are illegal and are destroying your entertainment industry.

Remember Kids piracy is a crime and funds terrorist activities, I heard a rumour that al kida invented pear2pear file shearing.

I'm sure they would have invented peer2peer file sharing instead, as I don't think they would want to share many pears across the internet.. get mouldy etc.
