Few of the old things started to anny me alot last night, the Dolphin jumping, Stupid constant nade spam and the 64player medic servers. What are the changes in teh beta? i'm hoping no prone while jumping, restriction on numbers of each class per team and some stricted controls on nades

The beta = 15servers total
its just not worth the gains.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

we played a few weeks ago, was really good fun. Don;t know why we didn't play again tbh.

Heroes, is sloppy and the gameplay is very sluggish (i.e. aiming is shit, damage done is shit, and QuakeLive is the ****ing win compared to it)
1943, I didn't think the PC version was out yet.

I tried out BF 1943 on XBL- it's rubbish, especially the flight controls for the fighters- all the possible system settings make no sense!

1943 won't be played by me, especially as it's a console version too. I'm sure the cnotrols will be all console style. BF Heroes is crap like Maz said - it looked promising but it's really shit to play and the interface for both the game and website suck ass compared to what they've done with Quake Live.
QL is amazing and still my favourite FPS at the moment.

Not played any games in ohh 3 years or more? Hi Chris, yes long time. If/when we move house I may build another PC, current net speed means i cba, 512k at best, flakey most the time....village life is great!

It's slightly arcadey but still tactical. It's like a stripped down BF lite. The destuctable buildings adds a fantastic atmosphere to proceedings. Can't stop playing it on my 360 atm.

I got COD:WaW on the 360 to play with a friend... after playing Quake Live for the past few months with it's fast action and freedom of jumping everywhere, playing an FPS on a console with a joypad made me want to rip out my eyes in frustration. "down a bit, left a bit, right a bit... shoot.... FS he's moved"
