Show me the facts I've had more LAN games then you've had hot dinners mate, and as long as everyone's using the same rates (as they should be), no bullshit happens AT ALL. End of.

I highly doubt you've been to more lans than I've had hot dinners ralinn as back when CS was out I had at least 3 a week at my place with mates plug I-series, all the CS tourny lans etc etc. Anyway - go read up on the facts of the netcode if you want to see some. Or watch the numerous youtube videos showing it off with basic console commands.

I LAN at work every lunch time and have been doing for the past 3-4 years. I've seen no 'facts' on the netcode being shit, and I've seen just as many BF2 rare hitbox bugs on youtube than CS ones.

I never had a problem with the code if your rubbish at FPS your rubbish at fps blaming the game is weak and why your such a looser.
As long as it is the same for all it really doesnt matter, There just isnt the need for anyone to play such an old game, it was great in its day, and like you say midnight, still one of the most popular game in the world. Probably the most popular online fps game ever made. To slag it off now is just weak. You yourself have just admitted to having LANs on CS more than 3 times a week (which is obviously total bullshit aswell). If the net code was that bad why didnt you play it once and then stop playing it ? the fact you carried on holding lans in your house "more than 3 times a week" shows that is was a very good game in its day. but that day was a long time ago.

Er because like I said. It stopped being good when valve took over. That's at least 4 years of good CS before they got their hands on it so calling me a liar over holding lans in my house just because I stopped in the last year or so of CS is just pathetic SENT - that's at least 4 yrs plus of LANs (not including TFC before it). Also calling people rubbish at a game because it became f'd up in the last year is bullshit on your behalf. I could name the competitions and prizes that me, Mani, Stan and i'm sure others on here achieved when we played CS properly but I really cba.
But then you never can read a post before commenting on it can you

Valve modified the original netcode taken from Quake I believe back in the later stages of beta round about 7, shortly afterwards valve took control of cs and it became retail. I believe it was intended to remove a lot of the ping bias at a time when residential broadband was being introduced to much of Europe and America which is strange. From then on valve mainly made the game more friendly for newcomers with each update and indeed it did explode worldwide, at a cost of lowering the skill level, which obviously benefited the lesser skilled players such as mani and stan and levelled the playing field somewhat. But if people still enjoy playing the game be happy for them and keep ya fkin whining to yourself.

Ive had a total turnaround of opinion on ET:QW as there are no US marketing boards who dont even own graphics cards deciding things like this. hopefully it will remain true to the core player. pitfinder ROFL

the net code was changed in the beta not in cs retail. are you saying you were in these competition and 4 lans at your house a week whilst beta testing it ?? I dont think so so you were playing it after it was already valve and valve netcode

rofl you obviously know nothing about CS then do you. I played CS since beta 1 day 1. Retail CS is not the first time CS was released you know.
