Hi I'm trying to install Hitmman: Blood Money and i keep geting an error

this application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem

It looks like its a DirectX file missing, but I can play Battlefield 2 and tomb raider legend with out any problems and my PC more than meets the recommended specifications.

I'm running a gForce 6800GT using the 8.1.9.8 driver (10/12/2005). and directX 9.0c

any help would be good.

Yer, re-install and reboot, then try again. re-install dx9c etc

Woooho you star. didnt think about re-installing directX it installed some updates at the same time (nice how MS updater didnt install thease)

but WTF at a game using the newest directX and not checking/ asking you to install it. when did game designers get this lazy?
