Can anyone remember any classical games they used to play when they were younger on the PC?

Dizzy - Spectrum 128 Brian Bloodaxe - Speccy Kick Off 2 then Sensible Soccer - Amiga Midnight Resistance - Amiga Stunt Car Racer - Amiga - multiplayer madness. Doom1&2 - pc - Guess this really started me off with multiplayer gaming. Was a truley excellent game, and co-op was such a blast.

Earliest games i can remember playing most from each medium:
midnight resistance - C64 silkworm - C64
Mystic Quest - Gameboy Zelda: Link's Awakening - Gameboy
Shining Force 2 - Megadrive Sonic - Megadrive
Wolf3D - PC Doom - PC
FF7 - PS1 Metal Gear Soild - PS1
Dragon Force - Saturn Sega Rally - Saturn
and on and on.. These arent the first games i had for each console but the ones of the early batches that left the most impression on me.

Old eh? The first game I played, on my first computer (which had a 25 MHz 8088 chip, 16 bits of memeory,no monitor, mouse, or keyboard, you'd hook it into you TV, a Tandy Radio Shack TSR80) was a Pong deriviative, and Space Invaders was another fav. Crap, when Wolfenstien came out and I had a smokin' hot 66 MHZ Pentium and a 35 megabyte HDD, 8 megs of RAM and a vid card with 8 megs of onboard RAM, I was walking through tall cotton...
Oh, and the game type I miss the most? Game that have 3 axis of freedom, like the Desent series. I had several force feed- back joysticks and just loved those games. The last vestiage of this type are the piloting games, which unfortuatly, leave me cold. Magicky

When Wolfy first came out, Pentiums were still a glint in Intel's eye, I had a 486 sx25 at the time, and that cost a fortune
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

right.... (hehe)
My 1st PC was an Olivetti 286, only had a few games, the one I remember was some semi 3D but all vector Helicopter game.
Before that I'd only had zx80/81, spectrums, Ti99-4a, c64, and an Amiga or 3.
Parsec on the Texas Ti-99 4A was awesome for it's day, now that IS old skool.
