I aint sure why but they cant make a crt [cathode ray tv] that goes above 36 inch's, how thick is the tv because i have a hunch its a plasma of some sort, quite possibly tiny or bush.
It could be a rear projection tv, or some other type of projection but i am pretty sure it wont be a crt.

The point is you dont need a hi definition tv to use a xbox360 but if you have one then you get extra detail.
If you dont have a hd tv then it doesnt matter to you that it supports it, but if you happen to have a hdtv and it doesnt support it then that will matter alot more to you.
Its far better to have something you might need and not use it, than to not having something you need.

Would you prefer that everything on tv be broadcast in black and white just because some people dont have a colour tv ?
Or would you prefer it to be broadcast in colour so that the people who actually payed for the hardware can take advantage of it ?

My bro's just bought a 360 and a HD plasma to go with it. It says the picuture quality is absolutely outstanding. He played the boxing demo and said it was near impossible to tell the differnce between the 'photo realistic' graphics and real life.

I'm very tempted to get a 360 and use my housemates 42" HDTV, but I know I'd then want a large LCD for my room, so we're talking lots of money here.

I was playing my m8's 360 on his 32" HD-LCD and its mindblowing, and i played my other mate's 360 who has a standard 32" LCD and the picture quality is still outstanding, granted its not as crystal clear as the HD-LCD but it kicks the socks off the Xbox and PS2 easily
