Do you guys care much about what mousemat you use or are you like me and just use what evers lying around such as a newspaper?

I should be getting the Logitech mx 518 soon so i was also thinking about buying a good mousemat because i think i want to try and get the best performance out of it.

I was talking to Stan about this as he was about to buy what said to be the best mousemat.

What mousemat would you guys recommend?

It's aluminium with a hard anodized finish, it will NOT wear down or scuff like my previous fav mouse matt the 'func 1030'. It's large, double sided and optical mice track superbly on it.

As long as youre not a nutter with it, it will last forever. Wrist wrest is entriely your choice.

What about the Everglide Destrukt Gaming Mat? or the Steelpad s&s mat?

No good?

I think ill just go for the Razer eXactMat, quite a few people have recommended it. Is its full name the Razer eXactMat (KB-003-RA), and costs £19.95?

Well with the wrist rest it will set me back £30, and £30 for a mousemat seems a little silly lol.

Anyway, if you know anywhere where i can get it for less please say.

rofl, yea i was thinking the same thing before i got serious about buying a good mouse, and i mean, i dont want to pay for a decent mouse eg: mx 518 and then not use it to its best by using my free colgate Herbal Mousemat (for strong, healthy teeth) so i guess i will have to get a good mousemat also.

hahahaha.. ahh free mousepads... *cough*
*quietly puts his free Disney collectors mousepad collection back in the safe...*

Just jokes!

But seriously, I went to the link of this mouse you're talking about.
I have a Logitech MX700.. cordless, like 8 buttons on it etc. Is it the Aussie version of the same thing? Or is the one you're looking at like more dpi n stuff?
And a metal mousepad.. man.. that would own..

Yea it would, reflection for the optical would be amazing.

but the cordless mouse you have would suck for gaming, well it did for me anyway, and a lot of people say it does, too much lagg with movement, but i dont know if you even play computer games lol.
