Every time I try to load a video in firefox that uses flash player, I get the first two seconds and then it pauses.
I have tried reinstalling flash several times, it works perfectly in I.E just not firefox, I am not however willing to use the shite that is I.E.
Anyone have any ideas or a fix ?

un-install Firefox (your user details shouldn't get removed)
Trash the /program files/firefox folder, re-install Firefox.
Should fix it,

Nope still only the first two seconds on this site
http://www.mahalo.com/Ninja_Gaiden_2_Walkthrough
Can anyone else play the full videos on firefox ?
And now the wow advert on the site which was working when I first reinstalled firefox is only playing the first two seconds with no sound.
Strange the wow advert works if I have no other firefox windows open and no other videos trying to load.......

It's not the site thats the problem for me but every single flash video, if there is only one piece of flash video on the site it MAY load, but if there are multiple videos, even if only one of them is playing. Then I get the first two seconds with no audio, If I select a point further into the video, again it plays only two seconds worth with no audio.
This is very strange indeed as it works perfectly in I.E, I have tried reinstalling firefox and flash to no avail.

#1 google for a flash un-installer, Flash has a bad habit of leaving behind the runtime engines for all previous installations, I have a feeling they might have fixed it but it's possible they haven't and you've still got loads of old version of flash player floating about.
#2 possible dodgy plug-in as Re0 suggested, what other plugin;s do you have running in FF?

What I would say is that it's not very likely that Firefox is the problem, much more likely that something is interfering with Flash/FF

Um as far as I am aware no other non standard plugs, does quicktime and windows media player class as plugins ?
Or are plugins things like ad blocker, as I don't have anything like that installed, however it is a dell laptop so who knows what shite they have installed !

director is a lot like flash (both made by the same people), and shockwave was the name of the web player for it. it got eclipsed by flash and I can say i have seen much of it on the web for some years.

It's a long standing problem with Firefox, I did some searching a while back trying to fix it but nothing seems to do the trick. I've allways found its very random in when it doesn't work, it will work fine until one doesnt work and after that it won't work anymore until a restart or something.
