Ive not seen you online since the BF2 days Re0 old buddy. all i play is TF2 tbh - although I have Crysis and COD4 waiting for my new Pc I think the only thing i really saved money on is the mobo and i'm yet to buy a monitor, ill be sure to order a 22" one soon enough tho. I hope I don't get no probs with it, for the cash I think i've done quite good. Seeing as i gave my myself a £600 pound marker.

Mobo supports.... Pentium 4, Celeron D, Pentium Extreme Edition, Pentium D, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Extreme
Doesn't mention Core 2 Quad? Might still work, but P965 is an OLD chipset so I don't know tbh.

It says on ebuyer it supports quad core, but doesnt list core 2 quad in the compatible processors. I reckon you should be ok tbh. I have an asus p5k and im sure i remember it supporting quad core.

Just ordered this mobo its an extra 30 pound but id rather be sure than have all this debate.. well actually it cost nearly £40 more what with postage as its a whole new order. seems a better board tho tbh.
