I've loved my Mx510 but unfortunately the left button has almost completely lost it's click and often won't work at all. What's the best mouse for gaming these days? Not really shopped around for years, kept with Logitech MX for a while but curious if others have found new great gaming mice.

Cheers.

How you getting on with the Razer DeathAdder Craig? Still recommended? Other options seem to be Razer Copperhead, Logitech G5, Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000... or Microsoft HABU

G5 or Deathadder of the current crop, I can recommend them both. Slightly prefer the DeathAdder.

However, there's a G9 on the horizon, not sure when it's due tough.

Im using a Copperhead atm, since my Saitek 3200GM went haywire and spazzed out (shit build quality avoid like the plauge) - and The Razor Krait isnt much good for FPS (good for photoshop tho)

Using a Titan mat (which i have to say is awesome for a cloth mat) and im waiting for the G9 to come out!

Using a Logitech MX400 Laser Mouse. Always liked Logitech and this was the most comfortable for me when I was trying them in the shop.

Somehow thought CoD4 might cure a few people of their CS dementia. Wish I had more time to play it.

What's the consensus with you guys at the moment? Still worth plumping for the DeathAdder over the g5?

I've been using a Microsoft Blue Optical mouse for years and with it's awesome 100hz polling rate and magnificent DPI I'm starting to think it might be a factor in why I'm so shit. Not much of one, but I'd like to do away with it all the same.

Also, would you guys recommend a mat and if so, which one?

I've been using my desk surface until now...

Cheers guys, think I'll plump for the DeathAdder - from what I've read it's supposed to be pretty comfortable too. And you can get it for £30 here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/RAZER-DeathAdder-1800-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B000M4PTTQ

- bargain!
