I'd swap that HD for a Seagate 7200.10, 320gb is plenty big enough for most ppl too.

Dell make ok laptops for the cash, not a big fan of compaq my self. I think i would go for the mac myself, as i have a desktop for games, and the mac is just a bit diffrent, and i would use it more then my mini mac. I belive you can also shove windows on a mac now if you get stuck .

I have the slightly better macbook, the black one.
It's only for work really and tbh I can't stand laptops.

i cant believe im almost goin to be spendin £700 on a laptop that i cant even use for games,..
I was thinkin i may hand a copy of a reciept into work - well a copy and then get a refund with the original (without them knowing) and build a new home pc.
I dont know why i really want a mac to be honest - i just seem to do. but seeing as a cheap Mac Laptop is out of my range i figured why not build a cheaper pc if i could get away with it and get work to pay.
I dont want to con work - but if my laptop - now doubles in value why would i want to take it back into work, where it could be damaged or even stolen again - when i guess i could build a cheap pc to run - Powerpoint if needed.
