tbh i have had it duel boot with XP for 3 weeks or so and have had no problems.... granted i have only ever booted into vista 5 or so times

I need to take our software home from work and try it on vista, you can bet that i'll be back here after bitching

vista works fine on my laptop - although that was put on by the dudes in the shop and im harldy pushing my lappys limits.

My mates home build seems to be sorted noe - w00p de w00

Aye once I have sorted and sold all my old pc stuff I am going to try and get vista dual booting with xp, was a mission last time I tried though.
Still cant wait to play games like crysis and alan wake and hellgate in dx10.

What do you mean a mission? my dual boot was a piece of cake to set up, and granted i don't ever boot into Vista but the xp boot works fine.

The vista thing seams a bit random, as i also have 4x1gb of ram and that works fine too, but my flat mates vista build for a friend keeps shutting down and refuses to re-boot until the power is turned off.

I had to remove 2 of my 4gb of ram, Vista keeps crashing with 4gb in it

XP was fine though

Well my Xf=i hates vista now, it was 100% fine until last night all i get is a constant electro crackle now

my mouse pointer disapeers on Vista thats the only bug ive come across - oh apart from the one time when it randomly froze
