Basically whenever i turn my PC off overnight, when i turn it back on nextday/whenever later, The screen fills up with whats supposed to be there +/- lots of colours and random digits. Then it basically goes blank after a few DOS Screens. I havent really had any issues with it when in use. Although BF2 Crashed once, and DVD playing one time recently went a bit odd.

To get it to work properly again, i wiggle the graphics card a bit and it seems to sort it out.

Any help?

(GFX Card = Leadtek GeForce 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI
(PCI-Express)

Mobo = DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard)

Hmm, sounds very odd. like soemthign isn;t makeing contact properly.

I'd take the card out and clean it's contacts and if yo have any use a can of compressed air to blow out the PCIe socket too.

I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

hmm
i took it out, when i loosened the Screw at the back it dropped by about half an inch naturally, gave it a clean and it still was gay when i turned it on. Fiddled with it abit and now it works again. But still not fixed.

[edit]
My mate and I think that some of the powercables might have been slowly pulling the card out, so we shuffled them around abit so they are not applying pressure away from the card, see how it works

£134 cheque in the post from Royal Mail - a whole month after loosing my Graphics card - the Issue is being resolved with them refunding me teh cost Best part is for some reason they are refunding the whole cost of the invoice i sent tehm which Included a stick of RAM - So ive doubled my money basically - Id say ive been due it - for the time and stress they've put me through.

Any recondmedations for which card to get ? - is it worth my while thinkin of goin PCI - route and gettni new motherboard - or stick to a better AGp?
