TBH, im with Craig on this one,shout box was tacky (also damn funny at times) + peeps tended to reply to posts from treads on the shout box rather than the thread themselfs.Even if it came to a vote and the majority won the shoutbox back, it wont happen, lol.

You can now subscribe to or 'watch' a thread.
You should only get a mail when the first new message is added to the thread after your last visit to it. And if course it's entirely opt-in.
It is of course not fully tested yet! I like to live dangerous at times.

Watched threads can now be seen on your account preferences page, and un-watched if desired. I overhauled the prefs page at the same time because it looked shite.

As per Reo's request, you can now watch a news tag, (subscribe for updates about a game)
There's a new tab on the game pages for subscribing. The emails updates are fired off hourly.

\o/ just one other small request, if posably on the subscriptions bit of our profiles, can we have links to the relasted pages, so if i wanted to unsubscibe to a forum thread that was a year old i could see what the thread was first (as my memory has been distroyed by beer  ) EDIT: forget me i just noticed it does that , as you where
