Ok, who's played, it? What's it like?

I know it won the UT mod competition and their focus is realism, which suits me which is why I ordered UT2004 so I can try it out RO, who else is up for it?

i played it at the very beginning of it. not proper tho, but must be pretty good if it beat tactical ops which is a highly thought of game for UT fans.

I played tactical ops quite a bit, ive never played any UT mod that didnt feel decent tbh,

I remember playing tactical ops with the 'Real Maps' looked it but didnt exactly feel nice to play.

The UT 2004 engine might be better, but I just think of cartoons when I think of UT.

When I was reading up on various mods a while back, I did come across this mod and it looked nice, but as I said my experience of UT mods is they look nice an play like shite.

But you can be the guinea pig on this one, and let us know.

O ive just noticed its a Point Capture mode of play, my favorite, so I cant fault it for that. Just depends on the maps then, and how the game plays and feels of course.

I played the Practice game yesterday with a few bots, it a pity the bots dont actually do anything useful otherwise I might have been able to play it.

As far as realism it doesnt look too bad, in fact it goes further than most games.

Your guy has stamina for example, but there is no stamina bar displayed, you just hear your guy getting out of breath which is quite good.

There is also no indicator of how many rounds you have left in your rifle, which also adds to it, so youll have to count. Obviously your guy does know how many mags hes got though.

Had a quick spin around in a vehicle also, uses BF type options, where you press your number keys to sit in different positions withint the vehicle, driver/gunner etc.

All in all if there are decent servers out there it might be worth a go, just hope there are actually some UK ones.
