Hardcore is the only mode. No shitty killcam and no shitty arrows above everyone's heads. The hardcore servers in the beta were amazing.

Dunno how you can say it's spray city, I bet half of you didn't play hardcore in the beta There's no crosshair and the damage is the same in normal mode in the full game. They increased all bullet damage by 25% so from what everyone who is playing the full game now (some people got it today early) the damage is the same as it was in hardcore mode in the beta.

Not a fan of hardcore tbh, I thought normal mode was fine.

Pretty sure that if its just a map-list flag, we could put together a list which alternates/ or cycles with hardcore maps and normal maps. if it needs restart i guess its another matter.

That would be silly as it'd have to empty and then refill as the modes swap and people who didn't like the other one left

I guess you have a point, but its kinda a stalemate with half and half. tbh i dont care which mode its in.

Will definitely start with hardcore mode, all Rush & Conquest maps.

Didn't fancy squad rush tbh, think that's mainly designed for consoles anyway. We'll leave it like that for at least a few days and see how we get on.

have hopefully stuck in it Rush mode (all 5 rush maps), hardcore on, ff on.

doesn't look like you can rotate between modes all that easily, will investigate.

I have the R5 console/admin command list on my desktop (courtesy of Battlefield blog)

It should be the rcon command i linked above and takes effect on the next map...

i think by modes he meant rush/conquest, not normal/hardcore.
