It's INSANELY hard now. The levels are much bigger and less health and the last mission of chapter 1 is just stupidly hard. It took us literally about 40 goes to get past level 3 on expert, and we can't get past the last one yet. It's AWESOME though. The levels look amazing and it's so tense. We managed to get out of level 3 with 2 people alive with 1 hp... the safe room was on fire at the end so we had to wait for the fire to go out from the molotov while holding off the zombies to escape

Thats good to know, I was only saying to my mate last night that if the pc version was the same difficulty as the 360 one then it would be a piece of piss for a decent player to complete.
Hell the xbox version wasnt what I would call hard to complete on its hardest setting and thats on a pad !
Good fun though, still whats the point of a sniper rifle in this fast paced game where nmies constantly come from any direction !

The sniper rifle is really useful if you have one guy using it... at least towards the end of the 1st scenario.

Finally did the 1st campaign earlier, its a good challenge at the end. Managed to not get the award as I finished dead

I bought a 4slot co-op server which is locked to the public members of the gameSlave group on steam can play on it.
Versus is mental.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

Any chance of getting some Versus servers for gameSlave members up? we had some manic battles last night, but at time was let down when the dedicated servers we ended up on were laggy as hell.

What spec's your pc ? If you can run hl2 you can run L4D well with some tweaks.

played it for a few hours today - some of the servers really suck ass.. but when you do eventually find a good one it is good fun. Completed teh campaign at the airport was a close call to complete it - i actually ended up late for work
