who is kidding who here. Unless your an expert at the super man dive the expert knife badge is a very tough one to get. I will be the first to admit that I do believe the expert badges should be hard to get, and alot of the times luck is involved. The most knife kills I have had in a round was 11 and 12. Both were on wake island where I have found it's the easiest map to get behind the enemy by going down the sides of the hill which surrounds the entire island. You usually find a couple of snipers trying to pick guys off and they aren't looking behind . I could use any tips on getting my expert knife badge.

With expert pistol badge I still need to get my min 500 then my 18 IAR. I got my vet pistol pretty easily with advice i got from forums and it works well. I like the pistols with silencers, just because I think you have a little more stealth. Sniper or Spec ops. Noramlly one shot with the snips rifle, especially the US rifle, to the body. Not the head! then swith to the pistol. The next shot should kill him. The pistol is actually very accurate. You can use the same technique with any other kit. 5 and 7 kills in a round with this method isn't that difficult.

Another tip for both badges is to hide around the opposing teams arty, scanner and UAV after its been destroyed. If an engineer comes running to fix it. 9 times out of 10 they don't look around at all, or moving when they have their wrench out. So its an easy knife kill if you are behind them. Or only 2 quick shots to the head with the pistol.

I foudn pistol stuff easier being assault, good combo of armour, speed and a good pistol, sharqi penninsula seemed to be the best map for it too.

I got my expert knife badge on Karkand as MEC.. I just ran to the bottom of the hill that that the US come down from their spawn... they were all concentrating on shooting the people infront and too busy to notice me laying prone down there.. I got 28 in a round or something close to that.

Sharqi is where I got mine. Me and a clanmate playing as MEC made our way to the TV station (still under USMC control). Their tank was still there and my clanmate (who was the Sq Leader and an Engineer to fix it if needed) took it while I travelled upstairs, not to cap, but to STAB! Got 2 in the stairwell on the way up and there were 3 on top of the building (none of them AT to take out my clanmate) looking down at him wondering what to do... So I stab EVERYONE of them in the back during this time. They respawn and shoot me down.
I respawn on my Sq Leader and make my way up the stairs again. No one in the stairwell this time but the SAME 3 on the roof looking down again at my clanmate. STAB STAB STAB, away they go again, they respawn and kill me.
Rinsed and repeated a 3rd time and on the 4th they finally caught on (by then I was laughing so hard I most likely couldn't have killed them anyway) and got my ass on the next few attempts. I prevailed and got a couple and then my Sq Leader died so I got the remaining few other places on the map. Got a total of 21 Knife kills (still kept on doing it cause I was having so much fun!) when it ended.
I made sure I had my 100 kills going in and got both my Veteran and Expert in the same round.

The best way to get pistol kills on SF is on Ghost Town. At the start of map, on any team, race to the mosque tower thing as medic. Then when people take the centre CP, and everyone snipes, use pistol to the head if poss, or when they climb the ladders as they have less protection. This is how I have got my veteran badge. 18 in a game is quite a mission!!

it says 18 kills in a round and 500 total pistol kills - I got mine right at teh very end of the round and i believe it was my 20th. I want my kife now

I got my Expert Knife a long time before the patch came out, but you can still get it with the new patch, its just a little harder.

Im still working on my Expert pistol I only have my veteran one.

Pistol and knife servers

Some say Ea will take it off those who gained awards on such servers - but at the end of the day it is a ranked server and it is just a gentlemans agreement to use either Knife - Pistol or Shock paddle

its a small enough server and you have enough time to get your badge - its no different from teh cases when you join a near empty server and some one calls on everyone to use only pistols or knifes - some do some wont - eventually either way the server will fill up and everyone gets on with it

i got the badges too, i do my badges on warlord, its a nice map for these ones. i think for expert pistol is better you play sniper or spec ops because the gun is very quiet and sometimes i think it shoot faster then the other ones.

except when the server is empty and people call to use knives or pistols the stats don't count. There is a minimum amount of players before it starts adding them up.

As if i would ever condone cheating - at the end of the day its still a ranked server - I was on and off with my badge with in a few rounds - Everyones been on a small server adn some dude comes up with it - its not like ppl stand around and not shoot the medics as they can revive the ppl for you to re-kill. its just a mad little server with everyone rnning around with knifes out
