It's not out till 25th here in the UK, and yes we'll play wars if enough of us buy it.

I'm gonna wait and see with this one, has good potential but im not gonna rush out and get it!

So can anyone get it working? i get on a server and kickked off again it says i have to revert to the current "official" pacth version, but i dont have any hax

Once youve installed SF, it patches BF to 1.1, but all servers are now 1.12, you you MUST re-install last weeks patch.

Yep, i did that and it pays fine, nigh vision is a h00t, sneeking up and knifeing ppl is my new think

also has anyone noticed there are 2 medic unlocks, or i'm i going mad?

Re0 m8 the 1st unlock may be the BF2 unlock required in order to then progress to the SF unlock. I was playing it last night & I have to say some of the weapons are grrrreat ! I am not sure yet if the night time maps are all that but time will see. The MP7 looks like a poxy machine pistol but by God its lethal even at medium range - it will out gun an L85 in close quarter combat not sure if its the rate of fire or power or lowish recoil which = accuracy but if it where not for the fact I really liked the Medic unlock & had to burn one of my upgrades to get it I would have had it. I have 9k points it got me 3 unlocks ( I unlocked the Assault because I play it a lot then the wank L85 to get to the sweet G36E ). The action last night was frantic & the most noticeable feature of the game was how 3 dimensional the game play is. APC coming your way , no problemo out with the grappling hook & its up up & away . Enjoying your sniping only to find some inconsiderate Chopper spots you … out with the zip line & Zipadi Doda your out of there, same goes for artillery strikes when the commander sees you as an east target. I do have two reservations at the mo , the 1st being the night maps – a major killer of the frame rates I had to turn down 3 effects to get my frame rate up to a speed again. The second reservation was map related , the Carrier Map is unbalanced in favour of the US team & there may be other maps which give the defenders an unfair advantage . Still that may be the whole point of the expansion ... maybe its tactics time

no i had the medic unlock spit, but i guess it just unlocked a gun by mistake, i didnt unlock the uzi style medic gun. bit of advice for ppl that dont have all the unlocks, try to unlock guns to use in BF2, i whent for the enginer as i did'nt have his.

i have it, only played a handfull of maps, but i love it so far.

the uss essex map reminds me of CS, so may be it will convince CS player what they have been missing, not sure if thats a good thing or not.

I am really getting into it , my scores are significantly higher than in BF2 & me thinks its due to the fact your either fighting or capping much of the time ... I can see this being my game of choice when I cant hook up with you guys. I had a slight dislike for the night maps but now I have fixed the way my night vision goggles toggle while driving I cool with the night maps.

Was playin it the other night until 7am with D3CYPH3R - I was Drunk and it was good fun
