This is a little tester vid I made last night, took me about 2 hours in total. Was just messing about with an idea to see how it turned out. Its given me a lot of new ideas and I was pleased with how it turned out considering I knocked it up so quickly without much thought. So im sure this won't be the last bf2 vid you see from me. That's because you set it to full screen, go to the Fraps options and set it to half size and it's fine.

acually a cool thing to do (if u can) would be to record the game and if u have a web cam record what u do with the joystick as well (if u use one) cuz after watching this vid you fly really smooth....when i bank the chopper pulls and i have to "twist" the chopper to stay even or if i "twist" it starts to bank on its own i would immagen it would be difficult though cuz if i run the game and even open a web page my game bogs down a bit (2 monitors is kew but researching stuff in on monitor while playing in the other is a system bogger )

I use a mouse, recording what I do with the mouse is a good idea, but I don't have a camcorder. Is there anyway you can record with webcams? Im pretty good in the planes, not as good as Midnight though. Im already working on the next vid.

There's lots of programs to record with the webcam if you wanted. I bet it'll be shit quality and eat up your processor when running the game though.

Aye, I did think it would eat CPU power, but it would probably be easier for me to get hold of a laptop for recording mouse/KB than a camcorder.
Also Drplague, the key is to be subtle with the mouse/joystick. I dont turn entirely with the mouse, I just gentley use the mouse to bank the chopper in the direction I want to turn then use the Keyboard to do most of the leg work whilst turning. Makes things a lot smoother.

Like Landen says subtlety is defo. the master-stroke for pulling off maneuvers like that in the choppers. I've actually managed to make 'em do loop-the-loops, but it takes some practise, and it's not something that would work in combat. (I don't think???)

loop the loops in choppers is good in combat (mainly the attack ones) as if you're being chased by another chopper you can just loop behind them and they will lose you while youre above them, seeing as they can't look up without falling out the sky.
It's also good for dodging jet missiles etc.
