Grand Theft Auto IV ReviewThe cops this time around are even more dogged in their pursuit of you, and they practice a mentality of 'shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more and then ask a question' a mentality that often causes some major issues when you shoot back. Rather than pursuing you all over the city, avoiding the police this time means getting out of a 'search area' on your radar and laying low. While this can be tricky when there are helicopters in the air, it is a lot easier than it used to be.

I'll tell you why this game doesn't deserve 10/10, the radio stations are no where near as good as on the other games!

Nice review of an awesome game with just so much depth it's unbelievable how much you can discover in it. Brucie rocks my world, one of the funniest in-game characters I've ever seen... genuinely laugh out loud at his comments most of the time.

This is a really really good game, but as previous people have said, it doesn't deserve the perfect scores its getting, because its not perfect. It is one of the most fun, involving, addictive games I have played in years though. Good review too !

I don't know a website that says 10/10 = perfect game. Infact most websites say that isn't the case at all.

No game is perfect, but that doesn't mean no game is worthy of 10/10. TBH, I think GTA4 is completely worthy of it.

10/10 maybe, but the 100/100 scores I have been seeing to me, mean PERFECT. As they could have easily knocked off a few points for the games minor flaws, and yes there has been a lot of 100/100 scores for gta4.

To me, 10/10 = 100/100

As pretty much all websites give scores like 9.5 etc, which is just like 95/100 lol.

Nah 10/10 ain't the same as 100/100 at least to me. You can nock off a few more points from a 100 much easier than you can with 10. Not many reviews do say 9.8, 9.5 sure but not 9.8 but with a 100 you can do 98 if you see what I am saying. I just don't think it deserves the 100 out of 100 scores its getting, or even a 10 out of 10 score. maybe 9.8 out of 10 but not 10.

I kinda see what you mean, but I still stand by what I said

I don't really surf any website that score games out of 100 - not that I have anything against them, I just don't use any.

Anyway, IMO, all games have their problems, bugs and negatives. They don't always have to affect the score, as I've always believed nothing will ever be perfect... it's just literally impossible to have game that can be recommended and liked by everyone.

Thanks for changing it back Mani, and thanks for the complements guys. I love this game, but it isn't perfect, so no perfect score from me, I don't think there will ever be a truly perfect game.
