Battlefield 2 Review
Battlefield 2 is quite frankly awesome, however it's certainly not perfect, but all it's minor issues can be mostly overlooked because it's just so much damn fun to play. If you like to play first person shooters with your friends, assuming you have some of course, then bf2 is perfect, you can't beat playing in a squad with your buddies in the midst of the complete and utter chaos of battle.

Spot on imo, just wished we had more ranked servers.

Graphically though, sometimes I catch myself just staring and the landscape if stood on top of a hill thinking wow. Top job Dice n1

Has completely overrun any other gaming I do.
When you get a good squad together out of nowhere, orders are coming through from the Commander, you're moving as a team through the streets, playing your role in that squad... It's just so damn wild.

Joint Ops was my fav before, but BF2 just expands on the genre so much that it's just so much fun to play.. and play.. and play.

My negatives are there are a few bugs (that you can ignore pretty easily), and only one type of gameplay; claim flags and kill all. But the SDK should fix that when the modders get into action.

9/10 here, kickass fun.

Yes its the best online game i have played since before they shafted counterstrike. The only thing not in the review is the buzz you get from holding a point against a incoming army. I havent had that sort of buzz in a long long time. Good review m8

Man.. this eve we were defending a bridge crossing against a constant stream of 25+ Yanks, a small choke point with 50 odd people just going nuts with rifles, RPGs, tanks etc. It went of for a good 10minutes, in this somewhat confined area, and I have to say it was 10 of the most intense, fun, co-ordinated, and (am military) as close to realistic fun I have had in a hell of a LONG time in a shooter. All of us were cheering afterwards. Was such a blast.
Crap loads of fun. Crap loads.

when you find a server where teamplay matters, it's the best PC game ever.

We played out first proper was tonight and you get the feeling its so realistic issuing squad commands ect.

Even tho it was only a small 8v8 game it was very fast and intense, fookin great game that is in need of a small patch to clear up the ingame browser problem.

Ok. After a week playing this game I have totally changed my tune.

Too many bugs to list that, I dont feel this game should of been released unless it actually has a working ingame browser.

How many times have people lost connection for no ****ing reason what so ever, I have never played a game on broadband where I lost connection before, 56k yea that was to be expected but in 2005 **** right off.

You cant refresh a single server, you have to refresh the whole lot, there is no option for favorites.

AND HOW MANY ****ING WASTED HOURS I HAVE TRIED TO GET INTO A RANKED SERVER.

EA / Dise can kma until they sort this shit out.

To quote Morkith ill wait until the retail beta stage has finished then start playing it

One word, "Shocked". Yes, I was shocked and terrified when I got home with my new purchase BF2! I installed etc etc, patched, started it, only to find out that it was freezing at the login screen. After 30 minutes or so of Googling! I found a very interesting article on the EA Website, (Lost the link sorry). My GFX card isn't supported ! I mean, how could they not have told me about this issue! I also found this out after looking in my manual *noob*.

How could they not tell people about this EXTREMELY important point. Sure it gives you specifications on the box, but mine meets that min spec.
To quote the BF2 packaging: "VIDEO CARD: 128MB with 1.4 Pixel Shading*"
Very nice, I have an ATI Radeon 9150 256MB...

GG EA.. GG.

No idea Hawk, you'd be better asking in the support forum anyway.
